I have one the signs that hung in WDW from the 20 Magical Years celebration. The big round one that they had hanging on Main St. among other places.

My digital camera is out of commission so I can't do pictures right now but I can attempt to describe the brochure. It is in storage with a bunch of other Disney stuff because we had to move after last year's hurricanes so I haven't pulled that stuff out in a while so I am going from memory.
The brochure is a regular park map from 1997 or 1998 it is colored gold and purple and has Hercules in a heroic pose on his parade float. Down a little lower is a boy who is a spectator looking up and shading his eyes from the hot Florida sun, his bare elbow is at the perfect angle to make it look like it is coming from under Hercules' codpiece and that our hero has just spotted Meg. . . . if you know what I mean
I got the brochure from a storage area at the Grand Floridian where a bunch of old brochures and maps are gathering dust because cast members are afraid to throw anything away!

I have a Hercules Brochere from MGM '97, but mine isn't at all how you discribe it. Mine has a little boy showing his muscles with Herc with Meg in the backround on a float. Once your camera is up, I would love to see pics!!

Maybe the boy is flexing instead of shading, like I said, I'm working from memory.

With my guidemap in front of me:

Okay,my guidemap is yellow, it's for MGM studios. There is an African-American little boy (in a yellow shirt and red pants) flexing at the bottom left corner. Next to him is Hercules, doing the same. Behind the boys is a giant Hercules statue, though we only see the bottom of the statue (gets cut off at the chest). In between the legs of Statue Herc,is a costumed Phil (just barely seen). To the left of Phil is Meg. Meg has her left (our right) hand on her hip,with her right elbow at her side and a pointed finger. Both of Herc's arms are visible.




There you go, everything you could possibly want to know about the guidmap.

DOes anyone else here hoard old WDW brouchures and park maps? I've got tons of MK and Epcot from the 80s and early 90s. I even managed to find a park map which had been picked up in October 1994, with 'Please note that 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea has temporarily been closed' written on the inside cover.

It doesn't have anything to do with Meg. It's the kids' on hand with a finger poking out with a statue behind it that should be higher to avoid it looking "happy."

You might have the newer version of that map.
