My vote goes to Horizons. I was but a lad when that was going and I honestly can't remember a single thing about it except that we got to choose our own ending. That is all I remember from it, but I thought that was cool when I was young!
Bumping this one back up!!

Ok I've got multiple answers for the main question here plus a few additional categories
Favorite Extinct Epcot attraction that I have experienced: Horizons
Favorite Extinct Epcot attraction that I never experienced: World Of Motion
Favorite Extinct Epcot attraction theme song : Magic Journeys (which is an attraction I never experienced)
Favorite Extinct Epcot live entertainment: Future Corps
Favorite little known fact about an Extinct Epcot live entertainment group:Future Corps name looks really good in the font known as Serpentine D Bol (I know this because I made up some FC CDs one time, made up of live tracks of the group I got from Napster and that's the font I used to make thier logo on the cover)
I loved Horizons!![]()

The original Figment attraction was the best
The original Journey into Imagination. That was THE classic EPCOT Center attraction.
The redesign of that attraction makes me wonder what they would do if someone suddenly decided to redesign It's A Small World.![]()

"No capes!"
Since my first visit to EPCOT, the only thing that has changed was they added Mission Space. I've never been on any of the rides/shows you are talking about...and the few little new things I don't remember what the replaced.
I guess I need to go to EPCOT more offen (I've only been twice.)
Horizons was amazing. Just the fact that the cars were sideways... or however you wish to think of them as... made that ride so awesome. I really don't even remember World of Motion, in terms of the cars and stuff, and I really wish i did because I remember being obsessed with it... Ummmmm yeah. thats about it.

I'll have to go with Horisons also. I especially loved the park where you go through that little field and you get the smell of oranges. I'm always buying orange smelling air fresheners so that I can relive Horizons!
What was the reason behind closing Horizons to begin with?
LauraDISNEY SCRAPPER
After only 16 years of operation the Horizons building had deteriorated to an unsafe structure. After many discussions and attempts to save the attraction through rehab, the decision was finally made to raze the building and start from scratch creating what is now Mission: Space.
