Lets expand this a bit - What is your favorite Epcot extinct attraction?

i totally agree! i can't bear to go on the new imagination ride, my fave part of figment was the white room with the colored lights and figment with the paintbrush . it's funny how smells can be a memory, oranges are always horizons. does anyone else have the disney cd with all the old songs on it from the rides? it's a great way to remember the "old disney" experience, my family listens to it in the car on long trips since it's the only thing we can all agree on!

I pick Horizons because its a ride that I have been on, and I love the fact that it use to have four different endings.

I gotta say as a kid I went to Epcot quite a bit, yet I have no memory of the Horizons ride you all talk about. Sounds awful that I missed it!

I miss the Kitchen Kabaret show in the Land. It was silly and the song stuck in my mind. (Veggie-Veggie, Fruit-Fruit) When you are a kid it was hilarious to see fruits and vegetables singing. I also miss the original Imagination ride also. But I guess things have to change. They can't stay the same forever.

I forgot about the Kitchen Kabaret!! My sister, brother and I would drive my parents crazy singing that song, I miss that too!! Of course Horizons is number one, the old Imagination is number 2,.... Captain EO... man, I forgot about that too....

And World Of Motion... I remember at one point in that ride it would open up and you could see so much of the park, and smell the fresh air.... of course everything seems bigger and better as a child.

i loved world of motion! yeah, i liked how you went outside at the begining and then followed the footprints that would light up along the wall...i liked ham and eggs from kitchen kabaret, their jokes were so cute in a cheeseball sort of way

I too liked the kitchen kabaret.. Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit!!! My brother and I would sing that all the way there!! (22 hours by car or 3 hours by plan)

I miss Kitchen Kabaret as well, I LOVED it. It was my second favorite attraction in EPCOT, only to the original Journey into Imagination. I loved the Dreamfinder and Figment how he used to be. I love the original song from the ride and still listen to an old tape I have of it. "Add just a pinch of royal purple pigment. Then, Voila! You've got a Figment!"

The attration is not extinct, but I preferred the original narration. I'm talking about Spaceship Earth. I really miss Walter Kronkite. I know they are always updating and Jeremy Irons was "SCAR", but I don't think there really was a need to change it. I don't think all the changes Disney makes are always for the better....to change parks for a second, WHY did they have to change POTC to be politically correct? I mean they are PIRATES!!

heres on that mperhaps should be a "Did You Know" , Did You Know that there was another narator Before Walter Croncite? As for POTC WDW may have gotten the short end of that re-hab... at least when Disneyland POTC got it's supposed PC treatment they also got some additional animatroincs figures (courtesy of the World of Motion)

the origional Journey into Imagination - LOVED IT
I forgot all about Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit - LOVED IT, that song will be stuck in my head now for days
I too liked the Captain EO. The special effects and characters were great. Micheal Jackson wasn't so bad then. At least he looked human.
