Not to be outdone - how about lost attractions at my (2nd?) favorite park - The Disney-MGM Studio.
I'll start off with one - the full backstage studios tour. You started with the tram ride through the backlot and then moved on to the walking tour where you would see real TV and Movies in production. It would end off with previews of upcoming Disny Movies. I beleive it was the heart of the "old" Disney-MGM Studios. I'm sad whne I take the tour now - it's merely a shadow of it's former self.
Marty - I agree... that old Backlot tour was worth going on... now I rarely visit it during my trips to the world.
But of course - the biggest thing I missed this year at MGM was the Osbourne light festival. Hopefully it comes back in all its glory next christmas.

Although I'm a big fan of Muppetvision, I miss I think it was called Meet the Muppets or something like that.....there were real life sized muppets dancing in a show. It was where the Little Mermaid is today.
Lady Di... I don't remember that show. It would have been neat to see.
Although, Little Mermaid is my daughters favorite show at MGM.

Isn't it funny how some of the attractions that replace ones we love turn out to be our kids' favorites?
I was thinking I miss the Soundstage Restaurant that used to have "sets" from the current Disney Movie (I remember Aladdin's Lamp being up a flight of stairs) or the Catwalk Bar where you could have a quiet drink "above it all". Of course that was before I had kids.
Now, my son loves the Playhouse Disney show that replaced it. What's better - the original or the replacement? Sometimes it depends on the perspective...

Yes, I remember the Soundstage Restaurant, too!! I remember they had those palace guard that juggled swords while you sat and ate!!!
That was great too.....I'm looking forward to experiencing Playhouse Disney though this trip with my daughter, I'm sure she's going to love it!

Monster Sound Show!
It was always different. Even though the movie remained the same, the 'foley' artists picked from the audience always made it different!
I was fortunate enough to have been picked a couple of times to be a foley artist.

wow... i never even heard of any of these shows! sounds like they may have been a little cheesy so maybe i didn't miss anything
