I definitely have to agree with Nicks... Carousel of Progress for sure is a top one for me. I think in addition I would have to say Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion. I've also really come to love Phillharmagic over the last couple years.

pirates of the caribbean. haunted mansion, the 3 mountains, carousel of progress, dumbo, there are so many rides that they would never get rid of just because they are too well loved and symbols of the magic kingdom

And don't forget Walt's train! He loved trains, so I can't imagine them getting rid of that one either.

    I'd say Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...but I guess I'm too late!
Otherwise my biggest vote has to be the Haunted Mansion - I can see them really redoing it in 10-20 years as technology continues to advance, but it stands alone in it's genre. Now, just don't add a gift shop to the exit - pleeeese!!!

All the rides there are hugely symbolic of WDW. I don't think they could afford to get rid of any of them. Well, maybe Stitch.

Y'know... I think the only ones that I could be "ok" with leaving are ones related to the non-classic movies. Things like the train and SM and IaSW etc. can stay forever because they aren't tied into something like that, but rides like Buzz and Stitch have a certain lifespan to them.

I hope that they don't get rid of Carousel of Progress someday. I've heard rumors of it closing that pop up from time to time, and there is a site dedicated to get it to stay alive, so I hope nothing happens to them.

I can also see them not taking out the Carousel, because that's a classic. I also don't see them taking out Thunder or Splash Mountain. definitely updating them (along with space) but never taking them out.

Dumbo. Its this is one of the first rides people think about when they think WDW. It may not be for everyone, but its definitely a classic image in people's minds.

You guys have made a pretty complete list - I agree with just about everything: I just can't see them taking out any of the mountains, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World . . . etc, etc,

I do hope that they keep some of the other attractions rotating though, despite their popularity. It helps keep the park fresh and they are obviously working with limited space in the MK, so they have to do something right? My list of candidates that I would be perfectly OK to see change include:
    Buzz Lightyear
    Stitch's great escape
The Pooh ride (whatever it's called)
    Ariel's grotto
