Tron needs to be imagineered!!

IMHO, Tron is a fantastic Disney classic, and deserves more than some ad graphics on the monorails. So I'm putting forth a question: How would you imagineer Tron into WDW?

(note to WDW imagineers reading this, if you steal my idea, I want a job..I've got a ton of ideas)

Here is my ideas:

Disney Quest: Redesigned to be Tron themed. Or even a full replica of Flynn's Arcade. You've already got the games. Even create "space Paranoids"

Monorail: WDW monorails should be WDW monorails. But if your going to do something, go the whole way or don't go at all. How about a slick, shiny all black monorail with illuminated blue neon striping throughout. (and maybe one with red) Have the MCP be the voice of the monorail.

Tron 3D: Original Tron 3D movie in Epcot (HISTA theater perhaps)

Tron interactive ride: Where riders get pulled into the computer. Utilizing 3D FX (Like Spiderman in Universal) along with interactivity like Toy Story Mania. All in DHS.

I think you gotta go with some sort of simulator/3D dark ride. based on the clips i've seen of the new flick, I think it's going to be huge. And I think if they could make the light cycle segment work in a 3D ride, they'll have achieved the ultimate attraction tie-in to a movie!

i would rip out the stitch thing in tomorrowland

no one thinks a light bike coaster wouldnt be perfect...? Tron is begging for something like that...

Is there enough mileage in anything Tron for the parks?

not so much for the film franchise... but as an attraction it would probably be even more popular than the films i think...

Thats probably the best way they could employ tron into disney world.

That's a good way of looking at of course. There's a good handful of film-based attractions I can think of which were popular in their own right but their original (certainly Disney) subject material never became classics...

Mr. Toad, for one...

I think the whole Tomorrowland area should be rethemed to 1979's, The Black Hole.

thats what i was thinking... and Mr. Toad was my first thought... i say go for it with the Tron lightbike coaster... kind of like a Rock 'N' Roller Coaster... black light and neons making up the bikes...

I was thinking along the lines of a Space Mountain overlay. The Ghost Galaxy version has the monster guy chase coasters, why couldn't light cycles do the same?

true... but i am a Space Mountain idealist... i kinda like it the way it is...

I must admit I'm quite partial to the idea, but along the lines of Ghost Galaxy - an occasional overlay, not an outright change.

cant tron replace the speedway or better yet Stitch
