Other 'Imagineers' of note?
In my quest to continue building my Disney-themed autograph collection, I've decided to include some of the Imagineers of note. So far I've manged to get Marty Sklar and Bob Gurr. Additionally, I just received my "Walt Disney Imagineering" book back signed by the author, Ms. Melody Malmberg, who is also Joe Rohde's wife. She will be passing along my pictures to him when he returns from his trip.
My question then is, who are some other Imagineers of note that I could look into contacting? I know some of the ones I wanted to write to have passed. I did get to write to Ollie Johnston before he died, and that's an autograph that I'll always treasure, along with that of Roy O. Disney.
Any suggestions on the more well-known names in Imagineering would be appreciated! Thanks everyone

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
Just did a search on Wiki, and they have a list of current Imagineers, such as, Tony baxter, Kathy Mangum and Eric Jacobson, plus Legends and others.
You may already have all of these, but it looks like X. Atencio is still around and I haven't heard that either of the Sherman brothers has left us yet.
Just some thoughts!
Question: How many Imagineers does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: Does it have to be a light bulb?

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
Actually, I did contact Richard Sherman and he gave me his brother's address over in England. Haven't heard back from Robert though yet. I did want to reach out to Atencio but wasn't able to find a good address for him. I'd love to get his autograph, especially as he was also named a Legend.
Baxter has been on my hit list for a while but again, no address. I'll look into Mangum and Jacobson, as I haven't come across those names yet. I appreciate the suggestions... this is exactly the kind of tip I was after!

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
supernova that is so cool that you do that!!!!!!
I do have a question for you about this...
I think that is a really cool idea. If you send them a letter asking for their autograph, will they send it back? Will they send a picture? What would be the right way to sned it?
I think this is a brilliant idea and would love to have an autograph from the Sherman Brothers. I have a simple collection of autographs from people (ok, the only one is Thurl Ravenscroft) and I would love the Sherman Brothers!!! I'm a huge fan. So please help!

Re: Other Imagineers of note?
Thanks! I usually send my own pictures, since I don't know what they have available. Bob Gurr sent me a nice one of his own from his window dedication ceremony. Otherwise, I've sent Mr. Gurr, Mr. Sklarr, Mr. Sherman, and now Mr. Rohde my own images. You never know what they would have available to send out.

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
Depends on who exactly you're hoping to contact, actually. Now that I'm back in this thread, I just had an idea. I'll PM you in a few.

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
This is completely cool?
I don't understand how you were able to get their autographs though?

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
Tony Baxter is another I have an autographed photo, note and business card as part of my collection.
Still trying to figure out other names that I can contact to add to my fantastic Disney autograph collection.

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
I've been hoping to find worthwhile names in reading articles and stories, but so far no good. Need to possibly start listening more closely to podcasts and such. Maybe some of Lou's shows would help me out.

Re: Other 'Imagineers' of note?
Sent out two more Legends certificates this week. Need to start building up my Imagineer autograph collection next. I'm still open to any suggestions!
