Mickey's Imagination

Hi, Since I traveled to Disney August of last year I am inspired to become a ride designer. Next year I am going to take all the courses I can to get Me ready. I emailed Disney and they said to take a course in college of what I want to be and then consider their internship. I plan on doing this and already have a few ride ideas.

Currently I'm working on a ride called "Mickey's Imagination". You travel in a car shaped like giant mickey ears. 4 People to a car. You are accidently teleported into Mickey's mind when the Disney scientist were studying the powers of an Imagination. Now all you have is a Screen on your car showing you the map of Mickey's Imagination and you must reach Reality Station to make it out. But beware many evil forces exist in Mickey's Imagination.

So what do you think? I'm working on the track and map of the ride right now

That sounds pretty cool actually. It sounds a lot like a ride version of Fantasmic, with evil forces taking over Mickey's Imagination and creating a "Nightmare Fantasmic!"

I'm not really into the designing of rides and that kind of thing, but I am a bit of a creative writer, and have often brainstormed things like "if i could write a theme/story/script for a WDW attraction, where would I go with it?", and my best idea so far (in my opinion) is to take a ride technology similar to Island's of Adventure's Spiderman attraction (moving, pitching, ride vehicle, several small 3D movie screens, props and special effects that react to the films around your vehicls as you pass from scene to scene...) and employ a new storyline based on classic Disney personalities... a kind of Mickey and the good guys against the best of the Disney Villians kinda thing. Again, kind of like a high-tech ride version of Fantasmic. I think you and I are both kind of on the same track, no pun intended of course.

I love your idea about riding in mouse ears though!

I'm really interested in it. It's pretty neat sounding. I can see the ride in my head already. Lol.!

It sounds like Fantasmic, but I still thinks its a good idea.
Maybe, to make it more different, instead of focusing on trying to get away from the villians, focus on other stuff in Mickeys head, like you go through all the different movies, or even a scene with Mickey and Minnie, etc.
