HH #5 – Rain or Shine

Welcome to the 5th task in the Hula Hodgepodge series. This challenge series is for all the scrapping ideas and themes that don’t fit into another challenge. One task could be a certain theme and the next could be a certain product. You’ll never know what it is going to be!

Theme for Hula Hodgepodge #5 is: Weather

Create a layout documenting snow, a sunny day, playing in rain puddles, anything involving the weather. Were you buried this past winter with a lot of snow? (like Karen) Did you get flooded when there was a lot of rain? (we had a swimming pool in our basement) Share your fun weather layouts with us!

When you post your item here, please list the supplies that you used (brand of patterned paper, type of embellishments, etc), so if someone loves one of your ideas they can find the supplies to lift it.

The next HH will be posted on March 30th .

Have fun and get those creative juices flowing!

I actually did a Disney weather page!
The caption reads: Rain, Rainbows, and Snow
The rain cancelled the stunt shows and the parade, but the passing storms produced a rainbow. We found this snowman near Pizza Planet after the rain storm.

I used royal blue and light blue card stock. The stickers are snow flakes. I think they are by Nicole.

It's amazing what can happen when I actually carve out some time and have the pictures I need to scrap. I have lots of pages that I need to finish journaling or need one more picture to complete the page. It helps, too, that some of my pages actually match the posted challenges! Sometimes I declare a "NASCAR scrapbook Sunday" where I listen to the race and work on my books. All I need now is a free Sunday...I don't think I have a totally free Sunday until June!

Looking at other pages has actually given me some really good ideas and I've started to do things on my pages that I haven't done before.

That is awesome! And you just summed up the entire point of what I was trying to achive with the challenges...to inspire each other and push ourselves to try new things!

    You have made my day!
