Welcome to the new Card Challenge for 2008! This series will be called the Create-A-Card Challenge and you will see as we go along that it is based on a holiday or an event specific to the time of year. I will give you the actual date if it is a calendar holiday.
For this challenge, you have creative license when it comes to how you want your card to look. I may make suggestions on a technique or an embellishment to use, but these cards will be uniquely your own with the recipient as your guide to how the card should be.
Theme for Create-A-Card #1 is: St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th)
This challenge will run for two weeks, ending on Sunday, March 2nd. Although this date is only a guideline you may want to have your card made in time to send or give it to the intended receiver.
When you post your item, please list the supplies that you used (brand of patterned paper, embellishments, etc), in case someone might like to make the same card.
I look forward to everyone participating in this challenge and hope you have fun making the cards.
