and I'm so glad it did......very cute! I've been stuck on whether to do "it's a small world" in cutout letters, stamps, stickers, or chipbard and I love what you have done with it.

We'll still be here when you return waiting to see your layout. As April reminds me, it's not a race nor are the deadlines set in stone, they are just guidelines. You can finish and post at any time so we can all enjoy your pages and cards!

Hope you are going away for a few days of fun.......

Okay, here is my IASW entry for the challenge.....

    Page 1:

    Page 2:

    Supplies Used

Patterned Paper: From DTD for the IASW children
    Cardstock: Bazzill
    Letters: 4 Kids stamps
    Journaling font: Lucida Handwriting

    My journaling says:

    November 2003
My son Mike and his girlfriend Heather went with me to Walt Disney World this trip. I was'nt sure if I would get to go on "it's a small world" but Mike wanted to see if he remembered it from his very first time there as a child. By the look on his face it appears he remembered.

Here are my layouts for this challenge:

    Left

Journaling reads: During this visit, "it's a small world" had just reopened after a lengthy rehab. It had been closed for my last few trips and I was happy to get a chance to finally ride it. It was just as I remembered it to be, just with a brighter paint job!

    Right

Journaling reads: Fun Facts about "it's a small world"
    - The ride opened in WDW in 1971
    - There are 289 children in IASW
    - 6 continents are represented on the ride
    - The song is sung in 5 different languages
    - The ride is located in Fantasyland

    Supplies Used:
    Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper, Letter Stickers, Tag: Basic Grey
    Brad: Making Memories
    Font: Bradley Hand

I love the way April and Melissa used just a little bit of a photo to make their small blocks. I still haven't gotten over that "don't destroy the picture" mentality. One of these days I might actually cut a picture! Great job girls!

It's easier to get over that feeling when you print your photos at home. I just cropped and resized them in Photoshop before I printed and still have the originals saved in a file unedited.

April is right T, it's a lot easier to do when you have all the original's saved! If it weren't for digital and having all my photos on my laptop as well as backed up on a CD, I think I too would have a difficult time cutting into them.
