Dont worry Mel, I am also procrasting on the Small World one. We opted out of the Liberty Belle when we were there so I dont have any pics either. I was thinking of just doing the layout and adding the pics later but that is hard too because I am picky when it comes to color. I like the pics to match the colors in the layout. I will probably just sketch up a LO and borrow some pics off the net as how I would like it to look.

I would say that if you did a red, white, and blue layout you really couldn't go wrong. And get those small world layouts up already!

OK ...one down 2 to go...I am catching up on things slowly. Since I didnt have any pics, I just did a LO and will put them in someday. I know what I want where hence the little notes on the frame parts.

I used some beige and dark red cardstock I had.
The little pictures of ppl and crates I got from the net.
The little pocket I made as best I could(i dont have one of those neato things to trace)--I only had a bit of beige cardstock left so I couldnt fold it into an envelope and just put the ribbon over it to hold it in place.
The side pieces that look all antiquey, and the star border are scraps left over from a class(i dont know who they are by--I will ask on the 11th at the next class)
The red white and blue circle banner ribbons( I know they have a name) I paper pieced together and folded to make them look flowy. They are 3-d.
I used a tan crayon on the edges of the beige cardstock to tone it down.
I also crayoned the small ribbon so it wasnt so bright.

I was stressed today so I had to do something to calm my nerves while the monster slept.

Thanks...I had a bear of a time finding pics of them that were the right color on the net. I will prob add a few more details when I actually put pictures on it.

Wow....it's been two weeks for this challenge already. The new challenge will be going up today. For those that didn't have photos or time to do this one, like me, please complete it whenever....we love looking at your work and being inspired.
