CSC #3 – Four Strips
Welcome to the 3rd Card Sketch Challenge! For this challenge, I will provide a sketch and you make a card based on it. You can use the sketch 100%, or you can loosely follow it. The card can be any theme you want - birthday, thank you, thinking of you, etc.
Just have fun with it! Also, you don’t have to stop at just one card!
The sketch for this challenge is:

Stitchify!– Use ribbon as the strips instead of paper.
This challenge is going to run for two weeks. Deadline for CSC #3 is September 7th.
Please upload your layout into the Disney Scrapbooking photo album, with CSC #3 in the title and include the materials used in your designs in your post.

Here is a card I made that was the inspiration for the sketch.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bazzill (It's hard to see, but it is an olive green color)
Paper - Basic Grey
Tag, Stamp, ink: Hero Arts
Other: Watercolor pencils and a blender pen
The tag reads: Everyday of your life is a page of your history.

Love that card. The colors are great. You guys are actually making me think about starting to make cards....

Remember.....the Dream Team will take any cards you make and want to donate for auction purposes!

Okay, here is my four strips card. I blatantly copied one April had posted earlier, just because I loved it and because it so suits my brother-in-law whose birthday is this month.
This 'stitchified' version is for my niece whose birthday is in November.

Here is my card for this challenge (stitchified). This is a bday card for my sister who collects MM watches.

I have been trying to post my layout for the velum challenge since Sunday night. I keep getting an error message when I try to upload the scan. I have tried on AOL and Comcast, asked AOL and Lou for help, rescaned the layout and tried from a different PC. My husband even had me clear out my "cookies" and do an adware scan. Still no dice.
And know that this one worked, I am really puzzled.

An absolutely adorable card, nestinggal! Do you have some special little prince or princess to send it to? Or gnarly old cryptkeeper?
About uploading photos: I ALWAYS have to go into my photo software and resize my photos. I resize them to 40% of the original, and as you can see, they are still quite large when posted. You might try resizing them and then uploading.
LOL, Nenny Mouse at the car reference. I can SO relate to that! I am totally computer illiterate. In fact sometimes I need help operating the car! Today my security system went off and I could NOT get the thing turned off. Mr. iwannabeminnie is STILL laughing about that one, between answering phone calls from irate neighbors.
-
Thanks, ladies. I will try to resize it (if I can figure out how LOL). I made the card for my sister, who collects Mickey Mouse watches.
If you want I can make another one with Minnie for a
-wanna-be.

Soooo cute, April. Isn't it hard to give them away when they come out that fabulous?
I noticed that there aren't any more challenges pending in the Challenge Recap. You do have more ideas for us, don't cha? We like to know that there are moreexciting challeges in our future, right ladies? Expecially the AAM ones. I mean I went out and bought a special album for those and everything (can't you just hear my annoying whine voice) .
