    CC #3 – Mickey Mouse

Welcome to the third task in the Color Challenge series. For this task we are taking our inspiration from the main mouse Mickey!

Color theme for Color Challenge #3 is: Black, Yellow, Red, and White

Use any or all of this colors in any way. Use them as an accent, or make an entire design in only these colors.

Stitchify! – Create a design with Mickey’s colors, but do NOT have Mickey anywhere on the page.

When you post your item here, please list the supplies that you used (brand of patterned paper, type of embellishments, etc), so if someone loves one of your ideas they can find the supplies to lift it.

This challenge is going to run for two weeks. Deadline for CC #3 is September 13th.

Have fun and get those creative juices flowing!

Do you sit at the computer on Challenge days and just wait for them?

I'm so glad you enjoy them!

And everyone....please remember you DO NOT have to Stitchify, it is just an extra thing for fun.

Well my entry is a bit plain and simple but its for my 8x8 book for my lil trip i just took with my sister. Stitch i showed my mom yur disney 8x8 book and i will admit we have scraplifted some of the pages and have been inspired to create more!

The Journaling for my page says:

10 New Things I Did on My 10th Trip to

    Walt Disney World….

    1. Went with just my Sister Michelle!

    2. Watched Fireworks from the Contemporary Resort

    3. Saw a Rainbow

    4. Ate at a new restaurant…. Captain Hooks Snack Shack at the Polynesian

    5. Stayed at the All-Star Movies Resort

    6. Participated in the After Hours at MK and stayed until 12:30 am

    7. Called Bill, Jeffrey, Emily, Mom and Dad from a Cell Phone while walking around Magic Kingdom

    8. Rode Thunder Mountain Railroad in the very front, the very back, and at night!

    9. Watched the Water Electrical Parade from the Beach of the Grand Floridian

Saw Captain Jack on the Pirates of the Caribbean

I just used vellum, cardstock and the mickey eyelets bought from downtown disney. I wanted to Stichify it.... but thats impossible for me!!!!

Great idea, Nenny. I will have to scraplift--if I ever get to 10 trips!

Boy, I'll say you are on a roll! That is a neat idea. I'm so going to lift that one. I'm doing a large scrapbook for WDW in general with all of the pictures you take that never change from year to year (or not much). But I am going to do smaller books for individual trips (that is the plan anyway). That would be a neat thing to do for EVERY trip and make it a point to do at least a FEW new things every trip.

I've got two for this challenge. One with Mickey and one "stitchified" without Mickey!

You won't find any Mickey's here!

Thanks. Psst...I'll let you in on a little secret, but don't tell April. There is actually a second page to my Germany layout, but the flag on that page is in the shape of a Mickey head. I got the stickers at WDW in June. But the colors on the German flag are red, yellow, and black--just like Mickey!

Don't feel bad, it took me a LONG time to figure out what to do for this one!

And remember, you don't have to stitchify...that's only there if you want to try something different.
