hi!

hey!
new here... never posted/joined a forum before (i'm an internet safety worrywart, and so is the rest of my family, but this board seems really safe/friendly) so this is all pretty new to me!

i am absolutely passionate about wdw, and it's a rather odd obsession (or at least everyone else seems to think so). i especially love the innovative, adventurous and futuristic aspects of disney, but i'm a softie (and i mean it... many attractions bring tears to my eyes) for most anything (there are a few things i can't stand in/about wdw, unfortunately). my brain is like a massive library of random disney facts and trivia (the wdw trivia book is totally wicked awesome, btw!) i adore the new figment (contrary to popular opinion) and epcot is my fave park. i've been to the world maybe 9 (10?) times and disneyland twice. i also love most (again some not so much) of the disney films, especially the older and less popular ones (the three cabelleroes, who framed roger rabbit, both fantasias, tnmbc, alice in wonderland, lady and the tramp, mary poppins, and many many many others that i'm forgetting). the princess movies have also been ones that i find quite moving (snow white has been my fave since i was about... born. i used to drage the poor, worn-out tape around and want to be just like snow when i grew up... i do kind of look like her now a bit, strangely).

aside from wdw, i love music (some classic rock, soundtracks (i have the sondtrack to disney land and world), comedy, and lots of classical), films, books (mainly sci-fi like douglas adams and non-fiction), i play flute/piccolo (quite well), am an animal-lover, and an incredibly huge... huge... HUGE monty python lover (i own all of flying circus on dvd :dizzy: it's another one of my weird inexplicable obsessions)

everyone here seems really kind, knowledgable and easy to get along with, look forward to posting, and now that you've heard my life story i'd better finish this post!!! sorry for any inaccuracies in my grammar/puncuation, tonight, hehe... i'm usually more ocd about that kind of thing. lol,
