Hello to fellow disney fans

Our last visit to Disneyworld was during Christmas 2006. We usually go around the end of January but we wanted to see it during the holiday season. Never again. The crowds were shoulder to shoulder. We went to "Mickeys Party" and got soaked to the skin during the nonstop rain (half the things were cancelled). We are planning on going again January 2009.

Welcome!!! I understand exactly what you are saying. Our last trip to Disney World was in December 2005. Every book I read said that the least crowded time of year was the first two weeks in December. After we had gotten there, I realized that either they lied or everyone had read the book. We will NEVER go back at that time again!!! My favorite time to go is end of September/beginning of October. We cannot go again until 2010 and I am dying waiting, but I think we are going to try halloween. Does anyone have any pointers for that time of year?

Welcome to the Boards! When did you go to the Christmas party? I went in 2006, and it rained really, really bad. We could have been there at the same time.
