    Newbie

    Hi,

    I'm new to the site. I get the newletter monthly, but this is my first post here.

    I'm a single mother living in Mississippi with my 7 year old daughter who's a HUGE Disney fan.

    However, I have to say that in all honesty, I'm a bigger fan than she.

    I'm a former Cast Member. Disney was my first job. I got hired in Feb 1995 and left in Dec 1995. I like that say that that was the worst mistake I ever made....leaving the company!

    No, in all seriousness, I had a blast working there and once my wee one graduates from high school and gets settled, I'm moving back to Orlando and (fingers crossed) working for the Mouse once again.

    Thanks for the welcome from everyone.

    mini-V,

    We just moved from New Orleans and due to Katrina we had had to move several times with my daughter going to 3 different schools in the past 3 years. I promised her that we wouldn't move again until she graduates. We have family in Mississippi and the living is cheaper, so it's here until she graduates.

    She's already said that she's going to go to school at UCF and get a job at Disney, too! So, I guess she won't actually move out. We'll just move together.
