What's in a username?

When you join any online community, you need to come up with a username/password combination. I dunno about you, but there have been times I've just sat there thinking "What username could I come up with that says 'me' and still be original?" On DWT you may try Disneyfreak or Disneymom but find they're already taken, after a couple of attempts, you finally get your username. So, what I think would be interesting is how you chose your username, or ended up with the one you have now. I'll start off since a few of you have been wondering:

I'm sure most of you know I was a Jungle Cruise skipper and I wanted a username that reflects that, and a few of my possible usernames were: Albert Awol, Voice of the Jungle, Chief Namee, George the Elephant, and a few others I can't remember now. Anyways, I thought those were pretty generic and remembered a term a couple skippers used to call the two skippers that help you out the boat (and no I wasn't going to be called pairofdorks) The skipper would point out "the two brown footed blue eyed albino pygmies on the dock" and from there on, Albino Pygmy just stuck with me.

Well, I would love to give you a great story about my unique user name but unfortunately it's just my name because I didn't know what I was doing and now I can't change it. Thank you for explaining yours though, I've been wondering about it.

I got lucky with mine. I became a member here really early on (member #242), so I got the name of my alter ego. On other boards if Stitch is taken I go by EgExperiment626- Stitch's original name. The eg stands for Evil Genetic.

Mine is easy... It comes from my yahoo address. Matt is my first name, j is my middle initial, and 4226 some random number that yahoo gave me. I've just used it for everything because it is easier to remember. So, if you're ever looking for me just search "mattj4226" and if I'm there you'll find me!
