Greetings from Chicago!
Hello Everyone! Nice to meet you.
-I'm a weird nerdy guy from Chicago and I thought I'd stop by to say Hello.
-My friends call me Snazzo, or Snazz.
-My enemies call me "You big <CENSORED.>" :wow: !!
At the risk of boring you, here's a bit about me:
-I once worked at the Disney Stores. It was a blast! The stores were a lot different back then. Not just toys and DVDs, but wonderful collectibles and clothing. I bought more than I took home in my paycheck.
-I also was once the District Trivia Champion, if I may toot my own horn. I don't even know if they do that anymore. It was a huge district wide competition, and the best winners in the country were sent out to Disneyland for the grand finale competition.
-At the store I worked at, there was briefly an experiment called Mickey's Kitchen. An attempt to do healthy fast food. As I understand it, there were only two in the entire nation. Alas, it didn't work out. I did like the PBJ Rollups, and it was very cute, but they had a hard time serving a hot meal. So they shut that down.
-A PBJ Rollup, btw, is a pancake with peanut butter and jelly on it, rolled up around a banana. Yum!
I've been to Walt Disney World three times, Disneyland once.
-And I loved it! WDW is heaven on earth. I don't want to die and go to heaven, I want to die and go to WDW. Really, I'd haunt the Haunted Mansion for free. (That's my favorite attraction.)
-When we first went the Magic Kingdom was all there was, and the Contemporary and the Polynesian.
-Now, of course, WOW!
-Favorite attraction at EPCOT: The American Adventure
-Favorite attraction at the Studios: The Tower of Terror
-Favorite attraction at the Animal Kingdom: The Lion King show
-All three times I've been trying to accomplish a great feat. I've wanted to eat my way around World Showcase, with a major meal at each land. Not just a snack, but a sit down meal. I have yet to do it. My stomach just isn't big enough, and there isn't enough time.
I have two huge collections. Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. And Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers.
-Favorite Disney movie: Dumbo
-Favorite Disney live action movie: Mary Poppins
-Favorite Disney song: Really obscure, "Space" from the old EPCOT attraction, Horizons (Horizons WAS my favorite attraction, but now its long gone.)
-Favorite Disney song that's not so obscure: Grim Grinning Ghosts
-Favorite obscure Disney movie: Hot Lead and Cold Feet
-Favorite Disney television show: Probably Kim Possible
And I reckon that's enough for now.
-Hope I didn't bore you to tears. This looks like a cool place!
-Cya!

Welcome to the boards!!!

Hello again folks!
-Aw, thanks for that warm welcome! I know you Disney folks are friendly folks.
-Cool, other folks from Illinois. And Indiana too!
But I'm so embarassed! No sooner do I show up than I make a big fool of myself.
-As you may have noted over there, my name got messed up. Instead of just plain ol "snazzo" there's a bunch of other gobelly gook. Gak!
-I think I hit the AutoFill button on my Google Task Bar and it messed up my name.
-"Oh drat these computers! They're so pesky and annoying. I could pinch them."
--That should be Marvin the Martian. Do pardon me form quoting Warner Brothers, but it's a good quote.
To the Moderator: Thanks for fixing my name! I wish it were just "snazzo" but it's much better than it was.
What a goofball! So I'm a newbie, I can't help it.
But anyway. Nice to meetcha!

Welcome!
You mentioned collectibles. I had my eye on a collectible Mickey in the London Disney store, but alas, it just stayed beyond my $$$ reach. The packers would have probably broken it in transit, so I probably saved myself a broken heart.
