I Quit my job to go to WDW!!!

So, extended family and friends have been planning this trip since Feb. The boss didn't see a problem at the time. Now he can't remember ever talking to me. The whole thing is paid for so we just have to go. I put the two weeks in and we are on our way Nov 28 - Dec 6....Wooohooo!!! Wish me luck when it comes time to find a new career.

I guess this is where putting your request in writing would have come in handy...didn't mention it in email by chance?

When I was a manager for BK, I told my employees that requests must be in writing or else it might be forgotten so things like this wouldn't happen. Good luck in your endeavors

Haha - what a true Disney fan! Last summer, I gave up a free trip to Europe because it overlapped with our Disney vacation. If I want to see the world, I can always go to Epcot...

Hey everyone! Thanks for the well wishes. The only request in writing was the "reminder request" that he told me to send in the original meeting. That one was laughed at and then when I put the "screws" to the sitch, he said no. Oh well, I can't wait for the trip.
