Guy from overseas trying to make time go by..

Hey guys,

i want to introduce myself - my name is Max, i'm 21, studying economics at the University of Munich (Germany) and i was a participant of the Cultural Representative Program last year at the German pavillion at EPCOT.

I'm a huge Disney World geek allthough there might be a lot of stuff and trivia i don't know. i was there on vacation twice (it's very expensive from germany - the flight is the biggest problem) and spent quite some time in the parks when i worked at EPCOT.

so here i am, listening to lou's podcast whenever i can (i missed out on the couple past episodes since University was SUPER stressy) and missing the place soooooooooo much, sometimes when i read your guys stories and everything my eyes get all watery.

My girlfriend and i are trying to return to WDW next summer - as i said, the money is a HUGE issue so we will have to wait a while.

I've been registered to this forum for quite some time but never really hat the time to get active - now i'm going to try to learn as much as i can and also provide you guys with the tons of info i myself got while working there (it was the best year of my life!)

Welcome. Hope you enjoy your time here. It does fill the gaps between visits to the World. Funny you say it was the best year for you. My sister believes the year she spent in Germany was the time of her life.

My son was in the college program at WDW, he has been back a year now, same age, he had the time of his life too.

i have never been to DLP - i planned to go with my girlfriend this month but she doesn't have the money at the moment, so that will have to wait.

but i'm doing a father & son trip with my dad in summer to california and vegas and i'm definately going to spend at least a day at disneyland

Sorry it took me so long to find your post. I'm looking forward to hearing of some of your experiences as a Cultural Representative. I've always wanted to visit Germany, but the closest I've come is Austria.
