Hello,
My name is Julie and I am new here. I have been primarily on one other disney forum board in the past. I am 33, love WDW, and have been going ever since I was 3.
I have two boys, one who's 5 and one who's 3. Their bday is in August so soon that will change. I coach gymnastics for a living. Like Lou, my husband went to Villanova and is, if I recall Lou's age, roughly the same age.
I receive Celebrations Magazine and have used (and loved) Guide to the Magic for Kids. BTW, each time I'd gotten Celebrations Magazine I noticed tha Tim Divine's name and face looked so familiar. Then I realized--DUH--we went to high school together. It's been awhile! He lives not far from me.
My kids, primarily my 5-year-old, loved Guide to the Magic for Kids when we went most recently. Our most recent trip to WDW was back around Thanksgiving. We took the train into Savannah, stayed there for a week with a friend who lives there, and then drove to WDW. We stayed at the Polynesian, which we love. (This was our second time taking the train down, and I would recoomend it to those of you who have that option.) Although we LOVE the Polynesian, it is my dream next time around to do, perhaps, a split stay between the new Kidani Village at AKL and the new BL Tower. I'd love to have kitchen facilities for fussy eaters. Plus the friend of ours from Savannah got a room at the Contemporary last trip and it was GORGEOUS.
We love staying close to the parks, particularly MK, particularly because our youngest is on the Autistic Spectrum, not to mention that small kids sometimes just crash fast! I look forward to participating in this forum. Great job Lou! And of course we own both audio guides, trivia books, etc.
