My "Story"

Hi, My name is Peter. I am 15 years old and I just recently came across the WDWRadio podcast on Itunes. Although it may seem strange for a 15 year old boy to be a Disney World fan, but I am proud of my hobby!! I've been to Disney World every September the past 3 years and around 4 more times back when I was too young to remember. I am an Actor and I want to be a Theater Director when I'm older. Therefore, I love the storytelling element of Disney World. I love the whole Illusion of Walt Disney World, that once you walk through that gate you are in "a whole new world", a story. I love that there's the "backstage" and the cast members all working to tell a story that fully engages and captivates it's audience. Most of all I love the feeling of being IN the story. Whether its flying over London with Tinker Bell, riding a runaway train through Mt. Everest, or taking a thrilling fall in a cursed elevator, the atmosphere and the details just take over your mind and take you to that world. And that's what I want to do with Theater. I love Walt Disney World and it will always continue to inspire me.

Re: My "Story"
Welcome! My name is Anthony...this community here is quite fun. I am very similar to you. I am 19, and have only grown more fascinated with Disney World as I've grown up (you can see in my signature, that as I've gotten older I've been down there more). I love everything about Disney World, and all the trivia and facts that go along with it. It is definitely a fun hobby to have. Most of my friends (both guys and girls) aren't big Disney World fans. Heck, I am more of a Disney-geek than my girlfriend. As with you, I'm truly fascinated with all the stories, attractions, and just really everything in Disney World. So, don't think it's strange; enjoy it!
However, I am not one for acting; so that probably gives you a 1-up in the Disney department.

Thanks alot! And I don't really find it strange, I just thought it's probably not too common on these threads.

Re: My "Story"
Thank you very much!! I'm liking this community very much. I've posted on other Disney World forums but it seems like much more friendly and personal over here. I feel like It's a cool way to make friends with a similar, yet uncommon, interest.
