I'm glad to have found you guys!

Hello folks!

I've been a Disney fan since childhood (like most) but it seems I was not ready for the WDW experience until last year. My wife and I have 2 sons (1st and 3rd grade), and last summer we made our first trip as a family to WDW for Star Wars weekends. This was my first trip since I was a child... 35 years!

We enjoyed 5 nights at the Caribbean Beach Resort and had great weather for our stay. It was not until AFTER I returned home that I found Lou's podcast (trying to fill my Disney void) and it has kept me in touch with WDW since then. Thanks to Lou and WDW Radio, I get my weekly dose of Disney while we await our next trip, which will be in September 2011. I'm an all-in Disney guy, and thanks to the podcast, my recent purchase of the "Vault of Walt" as recommended by Lou (great book, by the way) and my soon to be arriving subscription to "Celebrations Magazine" I should be able to keep going until then.

Thats the short and sweet of it... here's to Walt Disney World, WDW Radio, and the community you folks have here.

Seeing the resort so long after your first trip must have been a bit of a shock.

From I remember (and from pictures) we drove down for a single day out of our vacation from Daytona Beach. Of course, there was only the Magic Kingdom then, but at that age it was larger than life I know.

I'd say my wife and I enjoyed WDW last year almost as much as our sons... and can't imagine us not going every year from here out if we can work it out.
