hello from a 'newbie'

Well, I had the fantastic pleasure of discovering this site last week, but have been extremely busy so am just now introducing myself.
About me: I am a 40 year old single female, living in TX, going to school to become a Physician Assistant (anyone heard of WDW needing one of those?), who's favorite place in the world is the most magical place=WDW
!
I am about 6 trapped in a 40-year old body when it comes to my enthusiasm and excitement for all things Disney!
My Disney addiction had gone on the down-low for the past 2 years due to my graduate studies (which I must admit, were partly undertaken to better support my addiction) until a friend mentioned her upcoming WDW trip. While I have been known to review my last WDW trip photos to motivate me to study (with the thought that studying now is going to allow me to return to WDW), I had largely given up spending hours online reviewing Disney information.....that is until I stumbled across this website last week! Thanks Lou, for making this wonderful place to share the love of Disney (and distract me from my studies)!!!
Now, mind you that realistically my next WDW trip will at the earliest be the fall of 2012; however, I have likely spent a dozen hours in the last week researching this trip. Insanity, I know.
Well, to those here that likely doesn't seem bizarre. Neither will it probably seem crazy that I have been watching Utube videos of families I don't even know just to vicariously feel the magic!
I first visited WDW as an infant in 1971, then several times as a child with my parents, the last family trip was in 1993 (all off-site). Since then I have only been once, in 2008, but that was a truly magical experience as it was my first time staying on-site (AKL) and planning the trip myself. Additionally, while in the MK I pulled the sword out of the stone at the Sword in the Stone by the carousel, and was named "Honorary Princess of the Day" which aside from a night in the castle was the most magical "Year of a Million Dreams" dream I could have been granted (I am all about everything princess!). Since our departure day, I have been dreaming of my return visit but not really seriously considering where I will stay and eat, what attractions I want to do....until this week. Now that the planning has begun, I am again overflowing with Disney-addiction excitement! Too bad I have to wait until after I graduate, secure a job, and earn vacation time to enjoy these plans! Still it is great fun to come here and read all the tips, and feel the magic through others' stories.
Glad to be here!

Welcome. Have you listened to the Podcasts very long?
You never know about Disney needing a PA. I think they have an onsite healthcare facility for their employees. Keep on dreaming and moving forward.

Physician Assistant, that's great! I'm a nursing student and i keep wondering the same thing if Disney needs more medical professionals.

Lisa, I was just on the Disney careers site and I think I saw an open position for a RN. I am not giving up on my dreams of working in accounting for them. Go for it.
See ya,
