Hi Everyone

My Name is Iain and i am HUGGEE disney fan and also a Star wars fan. I Live in the UK with Liz and we are getting married on the 13th Oct 2012 ( now Lou has set the podcast cruise or was it Becky )

I have been to World since 1990 and come back every 2 years, as it costs alot lol always do the second 2 weeks in June, and for the last few trips have managed to walk in the SWW parades as i am a UK member of the 501st a Star wars costuming club. I also am lucky to be with in a 4 hr drive - channel tunnel - drive to Disneyland Paris which i have been too over 30 times and its still fun.

We are also DVC members since 2008

As said above we are getting married and wanted to do a cruise as part of our 21 day honeymoon and was waiting for the Dream dates to be released from Disney and i heard the WDWradio cruise podcast and the end news, well as we wanted a cruise and it being our first what the **** lets go Uber Disney style and we have sign to join the Madhouse at the mouse house on the sea.

Hi Iain! Welcome to the boards - hope you enjoy hanging out here. Sounds like your honeymoon is going to be fantastic!! I also love that you're a Star Wars junkie too - haven't had a chance to do the SWW yet (just miss it by about a week on my next trip - drat!)... what character do you like to dress up as, or is it just a case of whatever takes your fancy? I've seen some videos of the 501st on YouTube and some of the outfits are wicked!

Cara yes love Star wars and i am part of the UKG or The UK Garrison and have many costumes Star wars and movie based, but Star wars i have Stormtrooper, officer and if you ever played knight of the old republic i have Darth Nihilus, we have fun around the country so look out for us.....

Need to get my trips listed and get a cool countdown thing ( ok where do i get that from lol )

Nope the podcast cruise and wedding ( think i have it the right way round ) and 21 day honeymoon is worth waiting for so not this year, but hoping to have our friends from the Florida Garrison on the cruise so you never know wot may turn up lol

What a great time you have planned, we got married in Kissimmee in 2003 (couldn't afford to get married at WDW back then ) although we are looking to do our 10 year vow renewals on Disney Cruise Line in 2013, everyone's invited lol shh don't tell Kerrie lol.

We actually got engaged on the wdw radio cruise 1.0 lol (with the help of Lou and Becki!) and we rebooked for our honeymoon too. We're going to do a 5 night cruise plus 5 days at the Poly, but we've opted not to do the wdw radio cruise partly because I'm a teacher so I have to get married and have my honeymoon in the summer, and partly because we kind of want to be off on our own little world It was a TON of fun though and you'll have a blast! I'm jealous of your 21 day honeymoon!!

cool Zippitydoodah we heard about it on the podcast, Yes we have us time booked at WDW before the cruise, but with the 501st being as much as a family as i hope this place will be, you are never really alone.

Yes, it sure is. Trying to gather together as many of us UK fans as possible so we can share travel tips, experiences etc...if the group gets large enough I'm hoping we'll be able to hold a UK meet at some point!!
