I have always been a Disney fan. In the late 80's and early 90's my dad was stationed in Florida, about 2 hours away from the world. We would take several day trips a year, but never stayed on property. I went back several times with school trips over the years.
I went to the WDW in 2007 with my wife and I stayed a week at the Wilderness Lodge. At that time I was somewhat hooked. What I mean, I love the world and wanted to go back.
We didn't make it back until 2011 with my wife, 3 year and mother-in-law, and stayed 6 nights at the Poly. During the planning time I became familiar with Podcasts and social media.
I know consider myself mild Disney Geek, and cannot wait untill the next visit. There will definitely be less than a 4 year gap between trips this time.
