Hello everybody

Hi everyone,

I'm very new to the forums although I've been following the show for a few months now. So my handle is weepstah. 'weep' definitely works if you want to go all monosyllabic on me. you can call me Dave too. Davemon works. 'd' kind of works.

Anyway, I'm a long time disney nut who went to WDW many times back in my teenage and young adult years. But I've been on a long hiatus until about maybe 3 months ago - but since then I've been trying to compress 10 years of backlog into those 3 months! I stumbled across Lou's site looking for info and am now trying to catch up with the podcasts - almost at the end of 2007 now.

I have a beautiful, wonderful wife and 2 awesome kids

so I am extraordinarily lucky.

My take on Disney could be taken as more of a 'purist', but really it's just keeping myself open to the fact that change is change, some are very good and some are not, and that's ok. I have a big box of stuff I collected during my formative years, I was fortunate enough to experience Epcot right at the opening bell and ride If You Had Wings countless times.

Looking forward to meeting everyone, hope you are all having a great time no matter where you happen to be at the moment.

Thanks for the greetings! I see some people in NC out there, we spent 4 very nice years in Fayetteville, and often would drive up to the Raleigh area. It also made the drive down to WDW alot easier even though we only did get down their once during that time.
