Project Tomorrow (SSE Post Show)

Am I the only one who was totally disappointed with the new SSE Post Show? I ran into the guy who manages SSE again on this last trip in June and he said "Oh wait until you see it, it's beautiful." I was all excited. When we got off the ride I literally skipped, video camera in hand, to the post show area. When I got there I sort of just stood still for a few minutes. Big yes... bright yes... but wow not at all what I expected. Ok the little games are neat but I was not impressed. Like, what's up with the big globe in the middle with seats all around it that seemingly are meant for some sort of show but no show ever starts? I was just totally let down.

I am sure Siemens has something in the works once SSE is totally rehabed.

So are you saying they simply opened the post show area before it was finished? I know there were two other "game areas" that had signs up saying they were coming soon but... I dunno. Just totally disappointing.

I also have been under the impression that it was not finished when it opened. Not sure where I got the impression, but it came from somewhere.

I was at Epcot a couple of weeks ago, after SSE shut down, and I couldn't find a way into the postshow area, although I'd heard it would be open during the refurb, leading me to believe that perhaps they are still working on it.

I've actually never been in there personally. Did it look like there was more empty space than was warranted?

Thanks Jeanne! Yeah see I knew of those couple "coming soon" areas but it seems beyond those... not much else. Just disappointing (I know I said that already). LOL!

I really love the two new games they have! Have you tried playing them? They are worth the wait and amusing for kids of all ages!!!

Yep very cool... I guess I was really looking for something like what AT&T had in there. Very interactive and focused on communication. I had a hard time really understanding how the post show now had anything to do with the theme of SSE (Communication throughout time). To me it was just a commercial for "look what Seiman's can do". Bleh... bad taste bad taste. LOL!

ALL pre and post shows are sponsored by the company and Disney has very little say most of the time. I mean, look at the Kodak preshow for Honey I Shrunk the Audience... it's basically just a giant Kodak commercial.

Yep I know... but at least AT&T fit their post show with the ride theme. I'm concerned for the refurb Seimens is doing of the actual ride scenes now.
