What's your opinion on updating Carousel of Progress?

I like your idea Tinker Bell, It would be great to see Walt's vision of the future. I think they should put the original scene back. It's always intresting (to me) to see what people thought the future would look like.

I totally agree!

The only problem is, I can't tell you how many people I see getting off of this great ride saying, "Ugh, that was sooo boring and such a waste of time." Unfortunately, in today's world, so many people don't respect the past and what made it great. So, by adding the original end scene back, people would think of it even more boring that it already is. (In their perspective, of course. I think it is the best idea for my favorite ride yet!)

This is my dad's favorite and, funny enough, my daughter's favorite next to Star Tours. I was slightly shocked by the update by I liked it and think it fits. It is interesting how the voices stay the same and I liked the programmable oven and the granny playing virtual reality games with a full "headgear" style unit. It is still CoP, still one of Walt's most amazing and I hope it stays in the parks forever. Just my thoughts of course.

I'm for updating the 'future' scene. I think Walt understand and embraced progress (IE, when Epcot was EPCOT and he wanted it to be a showcase for the latest and greatest) and would be ok with it.
