Make a Wish for an Adult

I received this note from a former co-worker. Does anyone have information I can pass on to her. Thanks.

I need your help on something. My brother in-law’s brother has just received news from the doctor that he has approximately 8 weeks to live. He is 42 years old and has extensive cancer throughout his body. They adopted a 4 year old boy and were in the final process of adopting another child, but put a halt to it when he found out he had such a short time to live. He would like to take his son to Disney World, however, money is tight and I think they want to keep as much set aside as they can for his wife, after he is gone. Can you find out from any of your friends if Disney World or another organization does any kind of “grant a wish” for an adult?

I believe it was on either Lou's show or All about the mouse that there is an organization that does this for adults. If it was Lou's show it would have been the one where he told us that his mother-in-law had passed. Hope this helps a little.

Just an update and to bump up the thread. As in all things that involve money, there is a lot of paperwork involved with applying for a wish through the Fairy Godmother Foundation. Since time is of an essence, I believe that family members are attempting to scrape some money together in hopes of getting him to WDW in the next week or so.
