    Blue Bayou Monte Cristo??

So I looked up the recipe for the Blue Bayou Monte Cristo sandwich. I also don't get why they don't have it somewhere in WDW, but that's beside the point. I found a site that listed the recipe, and says it's from the restaurant. No this is not allears.net, I went there next. I'll put up a link and let you find what I'm talking about.

jam and syrup are normal for these? if so, i don't think i'd wanna get one. somehow swiss cheese and meat doesn't sound so great with powdered sugar and syrups.

Yes, raspberry jam is normal for these. Actually, it's more like a sauce. At least the ones I have seen. I haven't heard of maple syrup being used, but it'd make sense given how sweet it is.

Bennigan's offers this sandwich as well.

The Monte Cristo sandwich used to be offered at Columbia Harbor House in Liberty Square. I can't remember when they took it off the menu.

Their sandwich was much better than the one they currently serve at Bennigan's.
