    Re: D23 Mag Review

Your thoughts mirrored many of mine. I would want to see and learn much for that price. I have a nice collection of Disney/WDW/Disneyland books by various authors. Price $25.00 to $35.00,very few more. I would rather have 2 more well researched books with loads of pictures, hardbound and far more than 80 some pages than 4 large magazines. My books do not come with ads either. Just more bang for the buck.

I agree, Celebration is by far the better bargain.

    Re: D23 Mag Review

I browsed through a copy at Barnes and Noble. For me it still comes down to the fact that not every aspect of Disney's world is as interesting to me as others, so I found myself skipping past a lot of stuff like the Little Mermaid Broadway production (not that I wouldn't see it if I had the chance, I just don't need to read about it). For $16, I will have to be interested in most if not all 64 pages to make it worth my while.

Thanks for the review. I have not seen the magazine yet, so I dodn't know if I wanted to purchase it.

    Re: D23 Mag Review

I am really not excited about the D23 project at all.

I live in Australia, so the cost to me would be more because of the exchange rate and the extra in postage. Add to that there would be no chance of me taking advantage of the special offers or events, it looks like I will be looking else where.

As you say, Celebrations would be more bang for my buck.

I should add however that the magazine itself looks great. It's almost a bit over polished, but it is nice to see they are putting a lot of effort into this. Even if it doesn't quite appeal to me just yet, I'm glad to see they are not half-heartedly going about this.
