There's people like that?!?!? Wow... lol
Just curious, if you know these alien-people, what do they say they don't like about WDW?
Of course there are many who aren't into the Disney thing at all, I'm just curious what their reasoning is.

I actually have a friend that doesn't like Disney simply because they are a major corporation that "was built on the backs of the less fortunate"...in his words. I constantly try to make him see the light...tough job.

If we can dream it, we can do it.
I know quite a few and they are dislike it for various reasons. I don't get some of their hobbies/interests/vacations either. To each their own...
I don't bother trying to change their mind because they are just one less person in front of me line at the parks!

I work with a woman who doesn't like Disney, she won a Disney cruise 3 years ago. She loved the cruise but still cold on Disney.

A lot of people I know hate Disney. Some do not see the "magic" in it, others say it is for 4 year olds.

Yeah I run into a lot of people that say they are not little kids anymore...But being able to go to Disney and have a little bit of that feeling of being a kid is what makes it really special to me.
My boyfriend and his family don't understand why I go to Disney as often as I do. It actually makes me kinda angry because none of them have actually been to Disney. They claim it is for 5 year olds and feel once you go once, thats more than enough.
Once I save up enough money, I am going to take my boyfriend down and try to convince him to see the Disney light and cross over to my side. We'll see if it works!
My neighbors. Actually came home after 3 days of a week and a half vacation. Lines, cost of admission, cost of food, lodging etc. They thought we were nuts for spending that kinda money each year to do the same thing over and over. I get the point, I just don't care.![]()
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
My dad... He's a been there done that don't need to return kind of person. A lot of other people complain about cost and crowds. I know of one family that protest Disney because it is on some list that deems it immoral or something like that.
The last line in my signature I think says it all.

My neighbors recently returned from an Easter week trip. They did not seem to do a lot and complained of the lines. I think a touring plan would have helped. Of ocurse when I meet people that do not like Disney, I think there is one more person that will not be ahead of me in line for Soarin'.
My husband's brother isn't much for amusement parks, so I don't know if his disinterst in Disney is due to that or just a lack of magic in his life. I agree with the comment below; those who aren't interested in visiting WDW help shorten the lines for my favorite attractions.

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
My husband has a good time at disney but he could live without it. One thing I do agree with him is that I miss the "spontineity" of Disney vacations. Now with crowd levels and dining plan it seems that you have to be an uber planner to go. Since our real lives are so hectic and scheduled we miss the days when we could go to disney and stroll.
I love that quote, and it is so true!! Our school secretary and I could talk Disney all day. Others look at us like we are crazy. We don't even try to explain! It just is what it is! I'm glad I have you all on this site! Reading the daily posts lifts me up when I can't be there!![]()
