Disney soap.

Anyone who has stayed at a Walt Disney World resort knows the Mickey Mouse bar soap and Mickey Mouse shampoo bottles that are in your room...

If you would like to get a bunch of these for when you go home all you have to do is use 1 during your trip and just keep moving the new ones that mousekeeping keeps putting in your room... If they aren't in the same spot that Mousekeeping put them, they put in new ones.. Then you have a stock of Disney soap and shampoo and you can smell like Disney until your next trip!

I came home with a stockpile! I got a lot of shampoos and conditioners too. I love the stuff!

Re: Disney soap.

There is something about just seeing that soap under my bathroom sink that makes me smile!

Re: Disney soap.

I like to use the bars of soap in my Disney Decor bathroom. When Mickey begins to disappear on the bar of soap, I take a needle and gentle scratch the design into the soap again.
Several years ago my dd gave me Mickey shaped soaps. I've tried to find them again to replace my supply, but they don't seem to be available anymore.

Re: Disney soap.

We used to give them to people who asked us to bring something back for them. This way we avoided having to buy stuff for them.

Re: Disney soap.

We had a bunch of Disney Soaps and Shampoos. Someone in our town did a Disney fundraiser of sorts. Gathered up all the Disney Freebie's and boxed them up and shipped them to our troops in the Middle East.

So many happy little notes came back.

Re: Disney soap.

If you catch the housekeeping staff on their rounds they're usually pretty good about just giving you some, at least the ones that I've encountered. On my last stay a housekeeper knocked on the door (we were in the room and had the door partially open) and asked if we needed any more shampoo etc, we didn't and I said no, then she goes "How about to take home?" so I took her up on it.

Re: Disney soap.

I have a make up and travel case full of 'em! I always have to buy a couple bars of the Mickey soaps from Basin every time I go, so the resort ones are really piling up, but I still can't wait to use them!

Re: Disney soap.

Anyone have a picture of these? I've only stayed at the Disneyland Hotel where they had, lotions, shampoos, etc with Mickey ears. I was curious if the ones at WDW were the same.

Re: Disney soap.

I think that they look different from the values to the deluxe. I know that the values and the moderates you get a white bar wrapped in clear cellophane and the shampoo is blue. Not sure what the deluxe look like. It's all the H2O stuff, I think.

Re: Disney soap.

Do you know the card on the back of the toilet that has Jiminy Cricket (sp) on it and explains about saving towels and water?? Well, my sister and I took it on our last vacation and my mom framed it and hung it over our toilet. It helps remind me of saving the enviornment and my love of Disney.
