While I enjoy Soarin', I don't think it's good enough to waste an hour of my day to get on it. There have been many trips to WDW where we didn't even think twice about skipping it when we saw wait times in the triple digits (in September during the extremely slow times right after Labor Day)

As far as where to sit goes, I always thought it was best to have the 2nd row. Because since the screen is concave, the first highest row has distortion on the top of the screen because of the curvature.

The 3rd row has terrible distortion because of the curvature. All the city shots and Alcatraz are really distorted because of the curvature.

The second row is right in the middle of the screen so it looks natural.

I love Soarin. It is one of my favorite attractions at Epcot. Its so realistic to me and I awlays get excited for it. I did have one problem on it though. During my vacation in 07, the screen was dirty. Now I dont know if it was the movie film that was dirty or that the acctual screen was dirty but it ruined the whole ride for me. When I went back the following year, thank goodness it was clean, but still, I was shocked that Disney would let a main part of a main attraction be dirty and ruin a guest experience. Any how, I still love soarin and plan on going on it for years to come.

The only thing that I notice about the video is, I don't know if its just me, but it's kinda grainy. Almost like it got stretched out too far to fit the two story concave screen.
