Re: thank you, wdw radio!
I agree with you!!
This is a great place to be!!
Re: thank you, wdw radio!
The only other sites (and podcast) I like is WDW Today and AllEars.net. This was the first site I found and since I liked it, I really haven't looked at other sites. Guess I can do without the negative posts as well. This site seems to provide fair observations.

Thanks!! Glad you joined us!

I kind of like the pictures...
and captions...
Re: thank you, wdw radio!
One of the major differences I see here than from other sites is members seem to have more respect for one another here. Not a lot of flaming going on. I've read threads on other sites where it can go on for pages. And I think it comes from our host Lou. I may have said this before, but he set's the tone. And I think we follow. And the moderators here are terrific.

I can't tell you how happy it made me to read your post (and the replies to it)
One thing I have always hoped to achieve with these forums was to create a place where everyone was welcome and could share in what they loved about WDW and Disney as a whole. Thanks to people like you, we have created a wonderful, growing family and I'm happy to have you as a part of it.

Re: thank you, wdw radio!
I just take Disney ticket increases as an inevitable thing that happens every so often. I cant afford Disney right now, but thats just cause Im a student and can barely afford dinner! lol. And dispite being a poor student, I've still managed to get to Disney World 4 times in the past 3 years haha... I'll eat ramen noodles for a year if it means I can get to Disney World! But anyways, I agree and same with the podcast. A lot of other Disney podcasts I've listened to focus a lot on the aspects they dont like... and while its fun to think of new thigns or how things could be improved, I'd rather listen to what we love about Disney rather than bash it :)
Re: thank you, wdw radio!

Thanks for your reply, Lou. I truly appreciate it.
It is refreshing and nice to have a place to go (in my own little world) and share feelings and passion for something that i have always loved, WDW and even DLR.
Alot of folks, including my wife doesnt quite "get it" although, she does love Disney...just not the "nerdy" as she puts it..the way i do.
It is a family here, a family of folks that enjoy life, understand it and yet still has time and opinions concerning their hobby, interests and even deep passion for WDW.
Its a good day. Tomorrow will even be better.
regards, Shawn
Re: thank you, wdw radio!
I agree with everyone's statements above. Lou is a very optimistic and positive individual who is perfect to lead our group. He should be considered a role model and someone that we can learn lots of lessons from! Keep up the good work Lou!
Re: thank you, wdw radio!
I have a 1 hour commute home from work and Lou's podcasts really get me through the drive. His weekly show is full of insight, wit, and good cheer. His Top 10 (Read: Infinity) lists are great and I feel bad for Tim "Bananas" Foster sometimes, but not all the time. Scaring children and such.
I can't wait to meet him sometime at Disney World. My next trip will be running in the 1/2 Marathon in 2011.
