Kid's Say the Darnedest Things

Many of you have quotes you can use from your own children, but I get to rely on kids that end up next to me on various attractions. Last week I rode Soar'n and a girl of about 6 sat next to me. As we were "flying" over the the golf course, she said, "Look, you can see the whole neighborhood."

Re: Kid's Say the Darnedest Things

Our friends granddaughters (3 year old twins) told the gard at the pop century gate that they were princesses and they were there to see Mickey. He told them that he would let Mickey know they were there lol.

And my little cousin when we took him for his first time there he was in awe of the castle and said that it was HUGE lol

Re: Kid's Say the Darnedest Things

This isn't WDW related but when my daughter was about 3 or 4 we were about to leave for a trip. We were talking with some friends before we left. I told our friends we were going to get some food and eat on the road. My daughter responds with a serious question; Won't we get run over? Hilarious!

Re: Kid's Say the Darnedest Things

I've pulled one of these myself. I believe I was about 7 or 8 when I did it, I used to obsessively watch Mrs Doubtfire.

I was out to eat with my aunt uncle and mom when my aunt grabbed the salt shaker and was shaking it really hard (it must have been clogged or something)

If you remember in Mrs Doubtfire, there's a scene where the new boyfriend starts choking on the pepper Mrs Doubtfire had put on his food and says "I didn't mean to kill the poor ...." lets say it sounds like bass turd. I decided to quote this and said " Stop shaking that so hard or you'll kill the poor bass turd!!" and I said it rather loudly. Nothing like the whole restaurant getting quiet while trying to find the source of the child yelling a swear.

Re: Kid's Say the Darnedest Things

We took a fishing excursion at WDW one year when my daughter was much younger and she caught a relatively small fish that she decided she loved, cherished and wanted to keep as a pet. We haggled back and forth as I explained to her that the fish had to be released, and because she loved the fish, it was kind and considerate to let her friend go. She then looked up at me with teary eyes and replied, "Then can I eat him?" Hope she never pulls that with the dog!
