Where Is Your Laughing Place?

My son (age 7) loves Splash Mountain so I tracked down a copy of "Song of the South" for us to watch a few weeks ago. The attraction was the first time he had ever heard of Brer Fox, Brer Rabbit and all the rest of the Uncle Remus characters, and it was neat for him to see where the stories came from.

We have nearly all the songs downloaded so we can listen to them in the car, and recently we were driving down the road talking about where our "laughing places" were. Mine ended up being the kitchen table, and after much thought, he looked at me and said "Daddy, you are my laughing place".

I thought this was cute and would make a good thread to post on- so anyway....... Where is your laughing place?

IN the car My daughters when they start capping on me about whatever and the have the nerve to want me to pay for dinner. (They're 23/22 and 1 is married and the other makes more than me)

Car on the way to WDW. All my cares are gone, my kids are thrilled, we're all in fabulous moods, it's heaven.

Right beside my best friend. He's the only one who can make me laugh and happy when i feel sad and blue. So happy to have him. Because he can make my problems easier and my feelings lighter.

At the risk of sounding waaaayyyyyy over-the-top corny, my laughing place is in my heart, which Disney happens to be very near and dear to. Life can sometimes deal us all big giant piles of stink along the way, but somehow I can almost always find some humor in all the craziness. In my heart, also means making other people laugh, especially my family. When I can make someone else laugh, that is the best "Laughing Place" there is!

Okay- seriously- work can be hilarious sometimes! I teach first grade and a student told me with a straight face that she couldn't read over the weekend because she was constipated! Only from a young child do you get the truth- like it or not!
