"Finding Nemo" Musical, Flying Actors?
Last time I saw "Nemo" at DAK, neither Dory or Marlin flew across the stage up in the air. I remember this from the first time I saw the show 2 years ago. Has this effect been cut from the show, or because of the nature of flying performers, does it not happen 100% of the time?
Re: "Finding Nemo" Musical, Flying Actors?
It could have ben a many reasons why you did not see it happen,
show timing problems
the people who haul them around during that scene.
one of the performers got sick so a stand in had to be used.
The flying gear was defective .
air sickness or some one could not lift them.
Re: "Finding Nemo" Musical, Flying Actors?
I don't recall the flying performers either when I last saw the show the year it opened.
Re: "Finding Nemo" Musical, Flying Actors?
I just saw the show last week and they flew. There must've been some technical problem when you saw it.
Re: "Finding Nemo" Musical, Flying Actors?
I was also just there last week and the preformers flew like normal.

I'm a theatre professional and know the ins and outs of flying, and the inherent risks of it. Thanks for confirming it was just an off day the last time I saw it. I was hoping they weren't cutting that element of the show.:mickeykid
