Does the Haunted Mansion actuallly scare you?

The Haunted Mansion has ALWAYS scared me. Even today, I still get this sense of forbode, and meloncholy. All the legends and rumors about it definately amp up the eerieness.

Does it scare you?

Not as much as it did when I was smaller but it still does creep me out a bit.

It did the first time ... and I was in my mid-20s!

We have a haunted ride here and it used to have something come out and touch you. I expected that the first time I went on Haunted Mansion. Now, I know what to expect and laugh.

One of the 2 times we did HM on our August visit, the ride got stuck at the crystal ball scene for about 3 minutes. That was creepy!

I don't find the Haunted Mansion scary, I think it is really fun. There are "creepy" things in there such as the bride or the skeletal wolf, but I think the Grim Grinning Ghosts song lightens the mood. I guess the scariest part for me is when the zombie ghost things pop up from behind the tombstones. lol

I think it`s intimidating,but it`s not like I`m crying not to go on it. Perhaps the creepiest part is stretching room("Of course, there is always my way.") Sometimes the AAs and pop-ups can be a little to close for comfort. And OF COURSE little leota is disturbingly disturbing. GREAT ride none the less.

i used to be scared khjrpxqt-less from like when i was 4 years until i was like 13. then i guess i just opened my eyes on it for the first time and was like "oh, this is just silly now".

funny story about being scared when i was younger. i was so scraed that my imagination created the greatest imagineering feat of all time: weather control. i literally thought that Disney created a perpetual storm cloud above the mansion, complete with lighting and thunder effects.

^^they should get on that. that would be sweet

When i was little i used to be so afraid of the Haunted Mansion, up until i was like 8 i would always close my eyes for the entire ride, unitl i got to the hitchiking ghosts part.. cuz that always made me laugh

when i was three my grandparents said i would not go on unless i took my proton back from the Ghostbusters so i did and went on the ride

I use to be scared of it but my last trip, I decide to be a big girl and ride it with my eyes open and I loved it so much.

The only part that scares me is the streching room. I am always afraid that the doors will not open to let you out.
