| I'm just curious about how everyone feels about Disney acquiring Marvel Comics and the possibility of having Spiderman, Iron-Man, Hulk and the like at WDW. I personally don't want to see WDW become Universal. Hopefully, if/when the Marvel characters are added to WDW they won't be seen any more than Power Rangers are. |

| Fastpass Holder | Re: Disney acquiring Marvel Comics I would absolutely hate to see the Mavel characters at Disney. I think that would just be terrible. They may be apart of the Disney company now, but that doesn't make them Disney characters. Having said that, I don't believe Disney had the parks in mind when they bought Marvel. I think it's just a maketing and distribution thing. I could be wrong though, as I said the same thing about Pixar!

| Re: Disney acquiring Marvel Comics I hate the idea as well. Marvel characters don't appeal to me at all. I think they are as idiotic and uninteresting as professional wrestling. I hope they are kept out of the Magic Kingdom. |

| Re: Disney acquiring Marvel Comics the characters are still licensed to Universal for a long, long time. This was discussed way back when the deal was first announced. The deal was just approved by Marvels stockholders this past week or so.

| Fastpass Holder | Re: Disney acquiring Marvel Comics I was just thinking that. Disney already has some great characters that appeal to boys. Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto are perfect examples. Disney just needs to begin targeting them more and stop "babyfing" the fab five so much. "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" is a good example...

| Re: Disney acquiring Marvel Comics I don't disagree that more "boy" oriented characters could be used at WDW. It does seem that it's more about the Princesses. |

| Off to Neverland! | Re: Disney acquiring Marvel Comics Not that I want to see any Marvel characters at any WDW park, but I think we'd see them at the Studios first. Marvel is just so not Disney. I think it would feel so out of place to see an attraction dedicated to one of them. I really hope they keep them separate.
