How popular is Toy Story Mania

I ask this because I post over at Box Office Mojo. And a few of us believe that Toy Story 3 will be the number one film at the box office possibly hitting 500 million. I keep pointing out how popular the first two movies have been. But I also mention Space Ranger Spin is always packed when I visit. I haven't been to DHS since Toy Story Mania opened but I have to think it's just as popular.

Any thoughts?

I would say at the moment it's the most popular attraction on property, even the fastpass line can be huge in the morning.
Definately get there for park opening and head there straight away (maybe picking up a fastpass for later if you get chance)

Still a big draw. Waiting times for TSM are usually very long with FPs running out before noon. A fabulous ride. On the daycare circuit, Buzz and Woody are still big draws.

When Toy Story 3-D came to the theater here- it kept getting sold out. That should tell you something there too. I am looking forward to TS3 and can't wait to see where the story goes.

Every time I've been there, Toy Story Mania has been far more popular than Space Ranger Spin. As someone else said, you're unlikely to get a FP at all unless it's before noon. Space Ranger Spin usually has FPs available almost until closing.

I love TSM! It's got to be my favorite attraction. The first time we got to see it was funny. As soon as DHS opened, the whole crowd just snaked itself through the park to TSM. Totally agree with tizzo, SRS is really fun but TSM is definitely more popular.

Headed straight to the TSM FP line after parking opening last June. We walked vice running and shoving. At 9:08, the FP line was 30 minutes long and I decided not to wait. Went on ToT and RnR, then went back to the TSM FP line about 10:20. No problem getting a FP for late that afternoon.

No comparison between TSM popularity and Space Ranger Spin. Last time I was at DHS, mom got in standby line, I got in fast pass line. She got thru twice before I even got up to get our fast passes. This was getting to the park for rope drop. And they routinely run OUT of fast passes early in the day. Its crazy...but crazy fun!

I tell people TSM is Buzz on speed! We love it, love it, love it!
We are the people who get in line as we get FastPasses for a return later in the day.
I have an app that shows wait times and when other popular rides (pirates) are 10 mins, TSM is 60-70+
Ride it early, ride it often, but ride it - TSM rocks!

Yep. Because of the lines, we were only able to ride it once back in Dec. of '08.
I thought it would have calmed down a bit by now, but I'm sure it'll only get more crazy with the new movie comin' out!

But, DO NOT MISS IT! It is a Blast-O-Rama!!!!!

#1 in the box office it's opening weekend? Or #1 all time?

It'll definitely be #1 it's opening weekend. And it will stay #1 until Twilight:Eclipse comes out on Wednesday, June 30. Eclipse will knock it out and probably pull more $$ than TS3's opening weekend (tweens + summer=lots of repeat visits). Over all I expect TS3 will pull around $900mil in worldwide sales and it will become the #1 Pixar film of all time. I also expect it to land in the top 20 films of all time. I don't see it crack the top 10 though (meaning over $922mil).

It's still very popular, it has slacked off a tad as the new has kind of wore off of it, but still a very popular ride.
