I did notice the reference! Everytime I go to see a Disney movie I always try to keep an eye open for Theme Park and other Disney movie references, especially the annimated movies.
I finally made it out to see Alice in Wonderland tonight. It was sold out when we tried last weekend. I thought the movie was pretty good even though I'm not a fan of Tim Burton's weirdness/creativness, depending on your point of view. There is one thing I noticed while watching the movie. I apologize if this has already been discussed, but did anyone else notice the reference to the Disney Wonder? Near the end of the movie, Alice is on a boat in shipyard. One of the other boats in the shipyard is facing away (possibly on the right). On the back, the name reads "WONDER." Is it weird that I constantly look for these types of references after listening to the likes of Lou, Steve Barrett, Jim Korkis, etc?

Before every Disney movie I take my daughter to, I tell her to look for hidden Mickey's in the film. I saw the boat you're referring to. Wasn't even thinking of the new ship. Hmm. I was thinking it was a reference to Alice being in WONDERland. Funny how we all see things a little different.

I too thought the same thing!! But then again I see Disney everywhere all the time. haha
The Golden age never was the present age… but with human liberty we can fulfill the promise and meaning of America. To everyone a chance. To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. This is the promise of America...And I foresee the American adventure to continue for a long, long time!

Are you 23? I am!
I feel so bad. I didn't see the "wonder" ship.
However, I loved the movie. It was one of the most stunning, richly designed movies I have ever seen. My kids loved it as well.

I instantly thought of The Disney Wonder when I saw the boat too.
Did anyone notice the hidden Mickey on the door of the White Queens castle? Its when Alice and the White Queen walk into the potion room (?). The hare throws a green liquid at the door and there is an outline of a hidden Mickey. I thought it was my eyes playing tricks but I told my friend and she saw it too.![]()
NO! I know exactly what you are saying. I told my friend i went with the same thing! Its like an evil version on Kevin. HA! I am so glad you pointed that out!
Every Disney fan is crazy. Who else would go to a dance party in a theme park and dance. Not an "other park" fan.
