Has anyone else seen Ironman 2...

Okay...so this is super random, but I just got back from seeing Ironman 2, and I don't know if anyone else has or if anyone else has posted this some where else around here, but... Stark's "city of the future" strangely resembles Epcot. From the second Tony turned the video on at the expo and his dad started talking I was like hmmm...this reminds me of those videos I've seen of Walt, then BAM! the city of the future... I leaned over to my friend (who already laughs at my crazy obsession with Disney) and was like THAT IS JUST LIKE EPCOT!

Anyone else see it/have any thoughts. I'm interested to hear what y'all have to say and if anyone has heard anything else.

    Thanks!!!

We totally thought that too. We thought the film of his father seemed like the old films when Walt is talking about Epcot. We thought they even had John Slattery (the actor) looking a little like Walt. And if you stay for the ending credits (you should because just like the first one there's a little something ALL the way at the end) the second song played during the credits seems like something you might hear in a park. We wondered if these aspects of the movie were a nod to the new Disney ownership of Marvel. Movie I believe was filmed before hand, and because of the timing it wasn't distributed by Disney but I believe by Paramount. But it is the first film released since Disney's acquisition of Marvel.

    Oh..and we LOVED it!

I did stay for the credits and that song you're talking about (I did some research haha) is written by Richard Sherman! So yes...no wonder it sounds like something you would hear at the parks!

Regardless...I agree with you and loved the movie!!

I was thinking the same and I even marveled (pun intended) at who much Howard Stark resembled Walt Disney. Awesome movie! Who stayed until the end for the after credit reveal? And who caught the appearance by Captain America's shield?

They totally parodied Epcot and Walt's old films.

Pretty cool fact about the Sherman song.

Maybe a spoiler warning for those who haven't seen IM2 yet would have been appropriate.
