Happiest moment at WDW
What is that one thing that you always remember about a trip to the World that you think was your happiest moment? Do you have one, many, too many to list?
When you wish upon a star..... LAUGHTER IS TIMELESS, IMAGINATION HAS NO AGE AND DREAMS ARE FOREVER. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway. WD ...That's the real trouble with the world. Too many people grow up. WD

Re: Happiest moment at WDW
The moment we went under the arch onto Disney property it was like a big ton of bricks off my back after the last year. Knowing how good of time we have had in the past and hoping this trip would be the same. We just left Sunday night and we had a fantastic trip.

Re: Happiest moment at WDW
When I was 12 my parents -- for the first time ever -- let me split from the family and walk around the Magic Kingdom by myself. This was before cell phones, but we did have watches back then and agreed to meet at the Castle later that day at 4:00.
That made me feel so grown up and confident, to have the MK at my feet, no younger siblings to slow me down or dictate my day. I remember going to the Haunted Mansion and the Tiki Birds and feeling like a real big man.
I didn't have that feeling again until I was well into my 30s.

Re: Happiest moment at WDW
Taking my neice and nephew for their first trip to Disney World and seeing their faces as we entered the Magic Kingdom. And I have it all on video to remember forever.

Re: Happiest moment at WDW
Racing to the car at the end of the night. It's been a tradition since the 80's for my family. And now the little ones do it.

Re: Happiest moment at WDW
The first time I watched Wishes! Growing up my parents had no interest in firework shows and so we would always leave before they started to "beat the crowds". When I was in high school I went with a friend for the first time instead of my parents and we sat up front to watch Wishes... That's I think the first time I cried at Disney World! (but not the last!) It just made me so overwhelmingly happy!

Hearing "welcome home" every time our bus reaches our resort. Because it is true, I feel like I am at home with family while there.

Re: Happiest moment at WDW
Stuffing myself and all four of my age 16+ siblings into ONE mad tea party cup. We were stuffed worse than sardines but we were laughing the entire time and I was just so ridiculously happy to be in the World with the people I love the most...especially because my boss gave me the okay to go just two weeks before the trip
