Re: Has Disney World become TOO big?
We have never done the water parks. Our family is strictly the 4 park kind of family. We usually go, go, go for 3 days, take a day off and do the same for a couple more. My sister on the other hand has to cram in as much as possible because she doesn't usually have that much time off, so she thinks it is too large.

Too Big , No. WDW is not too big. It does require some planning, but so does most of life. Planning is par tof the fun. I do agree however that the Powers That be at WDW should concentrate on upgrading what is already there before they think about nay more expansions. It's a good time to plus up the smaller things, , oh and fix the Yeti already!

Re: Has Disney World become TOO big?
Planning is a must when going to WDW. I would personally like to see a 5th gate; it would be something new. I like seeing new and different things when I go. I think a 5th gate would ease the crowds at the other parks, etc. But at the same token, it may also just bring in more people to WDW. However, there is just so much unused space throughout WDW that a 5th park would really not be all that bad on traffic, people, and stuff like that. I'm for anything new, different, and exciting, and while yes, a 5th park when it opens would be insanely packed, it would probably make it easier to enjoy all of Disney World as a whole.

WDW is not too big. My bank account and vacation time are too small!!!
Walt is the man, Mickey is the mouse but Minnie is THE WOMAN

I've been going on a several-times-a-year basis for the past 15 years, and I still haven't seen everything. Not even everything I want to see. That's why I keep going back. There will be enough when there is so much I will never be able to see it all no matter how many times I go.

It's not too much magic that's the problem...if they overextend themselves there won't be enough "magic" to go around. You'll have numerous things that need painting and repair, closed pavilions (like EPCOT) because the sponsor pulled out, and broken things that never get fixed (EE's yeti). I'd chose quality over quantity any day.

Forget about this old building...Let's open another park!

I have no idea what you're trying to show us a picture of. Last time I was there, it wasn't on my map and there wasn't any signage. Apparently that building doesn't exist.
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

Re: Has Disney World become TOO big?
The comrade is correct. There is nothing to be seen there just now. To suggest otherwise is criminal.
The empty space will soon be filled, for the greater glory of the Disney family.
The brothers at WDI are crafting a new attraction for your future enjoyment. It will take five years, but we will bury the competition with our technological achievements. We might even try a Yeti.
