Well, they have announced changes from the original concept art. Not as much princess stuff now--going to be FAMILY centered. But I do hope "Tangled" gets in, and I, to tell the truth, would not be surprised if it is.

Tangled in the parks? Shhhh. Not so loud. They finally decided that an all-female super meet-n-greet geared park wasn't worthwhile. Though I don't see how adding yet another princess and prince to some quiet corner of the park will hurt anything.
I saw the two characters in DLP at the back of Sleeping Beauty castle and truthfully, it wasn't easy to distinguish who either supposed to be. There is only so much you can do with long-ish hair, and the prince was as plain as any of the other princes around.
Basically, you'd be handing someone a Rapunzle wig instead of a Cinderella wig and sending them out to meet the little kids.
Not necessarily--"Tangled" might not look so hot in the park now(it's BRAND NEW). But Disney could definitely put in something more than just a simple, standard meet-and-greet

I really liked it too -- and honestly, I didn't realize how much people didn't like it until I came back to this forum. Mind you, I also loved Pocahontas, Hunchback and Mulan... But they lost me at Treasure Planet.
I'm seeing Tangled this weekend! Can't wait! And given my apparent low standards - I am sure I will love it!
lets give it some time and see if it becomes a successful film before they go through the trouble of designing costumes for a Disney princess that may be irrelevant... im holding out judgement... i think Disney should too...

They already have the costumes, sadly. The characters have been making appearances at the parks for a few months now, well ahead of the movie. I guess Disney wanted to be sure to get the time in so in case they had another Princess and the Frog on their hands, at least they gave it a shot.

i would love it if they had rapunzel's tower where the dumbo ride is now. That would be a great replacement for that area.
imagine a bungee jumping jumping attraction in the middle of fantasyland... not a bad idea but remember something... can you name 1 thrill ride in fantasyland...? probably cant... thats because fantasyland is more geared towards children... in my opinion i think leaving these as just meet and greet characters is fine...

A Meet-and-Greet is cool, still--especially for Rapunzel. Though the "Tangled" tower is beautiful and would be amazing in Fantasyland, I can't think of anything more than just a meet-and-greet. MAYBE a restaurant--The Snuggly Duckling![]()
