I actually received a copy a few weeks ago, but am giving it as a gift to someone in the family. However I will also be reading it starting on the 25th
I read it last month and enjoyed all of it, especially the stories on the parks.
Got it for my birthday last month. I have about 40 pages left to read. Love the stories. Jim Korkis has a wealth of Disney knowledge.

I really enjoyed the whole thing, although the stories specifically about Walt were my favourites. Hoping Jim has plans to bring a volume 2 out next year, as I'm sure there are plethora of stories just waiting to be made known to the fans.

I enjoyed the whole book, but was most moved by the chapters about Walt, especially how he sent Christmas gifts to kids every year. The chapter on Walt's religious views offered info I haven't seen elsewhere.
I started reading it a couple days ago. I like the way that each chapter is its own "mini-story." Although you could technically jump around, I've found myself reading from beginning to end.
I LOVED the chapter, Santa Walt. It was very fitting to read during this time of the year. It is so interesting to see the things in Walt's life that have made "Disney" what it is. Since Walt died before I was born, I find myself thinking of "Disney" as a brand and reading the section about Walt has helped me connect with the man behind it all.
Keep posting as you read. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks as we progress through the book.![]()
Very impressed with what I've read so far. I've been jumping around rather than reading it as it is printed, but of course the style lets you do that. I found the chapter about Walt's early life and his newspaper round particularly poignant.

I started reading it the other day on the Kindle I got for Christmas...I'm not one that's all for reading much, but this is a book that is definitely keeping my interest...finished Part 1, and it's very good to say the least

Got to the section on Film Stories...I couldn't get into them. I'm skipping ahead to Parks!!
Got this for Christmas and can't wait to start reading.
I am traveling next week for work and am bringing this book with me to keep me company in the hotel. I love listening to and reading Jims stories- having a whole book is almost too good!![]()
Got it for Christmas also! So excited to have a wonderful book to read.
Just started!
Got a copy for Christmas as well. Looks great, but disappointed in the lack of source citations. This makes it very hard to use the book in any serious Disney research as a primary source.
Visit http://www.jeremyes.com for photos of stuff you like. Trust me.
Yea! I got my copy yesterday but have only read the forward and the first few pages. I think I am going to really like it.
