    magical birthday activities??

I am a huge fan of the disney parks and though i live in the midwest, i have been to land and world dozens of times. for my 16th birthday in early june i am planning to go to disney world with my 2 best friends and my mom. are there any special things we could do for my birthday that i may not get to do often in the parks??
p.s. thought i would LOVE to take a backstage tour, they are out of the question because we each have to pay our part of the trip (to learn "responsibility"... oh the joys of growing up. i say we all go off to neverland! )

First off, welcome to the forums!

And for starters...go to a CM, most likely at your resort front desk (if you're staying on property) and get the button that says it's your birthday. I honestly am not all that sure of "special" things they will do besides that, but I'm sure other people on these forums can back me up and come up with other stuff. If you're wearing the button, I'm sure at the minimum you'll have CMs wishing you a Happy Birthday up the wazoo and probably whatever restaurant you eat at they'll give you cake. You can also ask the CMs when you're down here.

Also, just think of some things that you normally wouldn't do in WDW to make it more special (take special meet and greet pictures, do some character dining, do a fireworks dinner thing, etc.). I'll try to come up with a list of that for you, at a later is near 12:30 and I am a tired college student! (worked out today). Have fun on that trip, and good luck with the planning.

For no cost, you could give yourself a photo quest on your birthday. Wearing your birthday pin, have a photo taken with your friends with a cast member at each attraction you visit. When you get home and print the photos, put them together in a collage you can hang on your wall. You can also use the attraction signs, kidcot stations in Epcot, FP machines, or whatever theme you choos for the day. At a little cost, your group can finish the day with a Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream.
